Here are some common or frequently asked questions by Toga Tots Members or Friends looking to join us.
Well , A lot! Our Calendar is always full of fun things to do. We have events that are going on in our area as well as official Meetups hosted by our Members & Organizers. The activities each month can include but not limited to: Age appropriate playgroups (infants, toddlers etc..), Crafts, Moms Nights Out/In, Movie Nights, Fun Fridays, Informational Meetups (guest speakers, projects), Storytimes, Walking Buddies, General playtime, going out to area spots like the Tea Room or Tree Paad, Lunch/Breakfast with the families, Fundraising/Giving Back events etc... It changes from month to month but there's definitely something for everyone.
First off, Thank you for volunteering. We love the help & appreciate the time and energy you're giving the group! If you'd like to host an event please see our "How To Host" page for more information.
$12 annually, with the first month being free. Dues are collected in July for 15 days. If you join in any other month, dues will be prorated for the year.
The ages range from those still baking (expecting Moms) all the way up to Teenagers. While the majority of ages are in the infant & toddler range with preschoolers close behind.
Yes! We try our best to meet the needs of all our families. We realize our families come from different backgrounds. Some of our families work full time, go to school, stay home etc.. We try to plan a variety of events at all days and times. We often have many afternoon, evening and weekend events scheduled. We strive to be working family friendly :)
At any hosted event, the hostess will let you know who you are looking for by location, clothing, children or otherwise. Please check the event page prior to attending. It is also helpful if you have a photo of yourself in your profile, so that the hostess can watch for you. When in doubt , ask if the person is a member of Toga Tots.

Our events are mostly based in Saratoga County, which encompasses Clifton Park all the way to South Glens Falls. Events can be scheduled for anywhere throughout the Capital Region though. We want our families to experience as much as they can and their desire to go. Our events also take place both publicly in the community or at venues and in the private homes of our Members.
YES,Please do! There's quite a few families with special needs children of various abilities. We're here to support one another and we welcome everyone. We have a special forum designated to our Special Needs discussions too.
Absolutely! Also don't forget, our forums are open 24/7 so they are a great way to stay involved and in the loop in between events!
Congratulations! We'd love to have you join. All of our Expecting Moms are always welcome to come to any event. It's a great way to get to know the other Moms , seek advice and gain perspective before your little one arrives.
Of course! Almost all of our events are family oriented. Dads, Grandma's , Aunt's etc.. are always welcome. There are certain events where it's just us Moms but for the most part family time is encouraged :) When in doubt ask your hostess!
Any friend of yours is a friend of ours. The more the merrier :) All we ask is that you contact your Hostess to make sure it is okay first and pay attention to any attendance caps.
