We are looking forward to getting to know you better. There are a few more steps in the application process that we'd like to discuss first. Please read the following message and send back/post your information within a week of requesting to join. Once we have everything received your membership request will be approved. GETTING STARTED
Membership Applications will be accepted once all Profile Information is complete. This is to include but not limited to your profile questions, a picture of yourself & the receipt of your contact information.
Please submit your contact information to the Organizing Team at Togatots@yahoo.com
Once this is all received, Membership requests will be approved

Members must place a picture of themselves (we love children, pets, fun places & scenes but to get started, let's see YOU first) in their album prior to membership approval. This is so we can put a face to a name and recognize you at events.

New Members must attend at least ONE Icebreaker or Public Meetup during their first 30 days before being allowed to attend a private event. Exceptions can be made but it's at the discretion of the hostess. Please contact them first, before RSVP'ing to make sure it's ok to attend.

Please read our Guidelines for important information on membership requirements and how we keep this group running smooth and safe. We've included them below for your convenience.

TOGA TOTS GUIDELINES
Meetup is an organization that “helps groups of people with shared interests plan meetings and form offline clubs in local communities around the world.” One of the ways they do this is by charging an annual fee to the organizers of each group in order to have access to the tools of the discussion board, calendar, etc. Some organizers pass this fee onto its members, and others just shoulder that amount themselves in order to provide a safe and free environment for its members. Our group currently falls into the latter example.

In order to keep our group free and safe, we first make it private. This way no one can “lurk”, read our discussions, find out where we are meeting, or see our pictures if they are not an approved member. Part of being private though is also being sure that our “members” are active in the group. We simply ask that you attend 1 event per month in order to maintain your activity. Being that we are all moms, we understand that things can come up, illnesses, vacations, other family activities, etc. If you should ever find the end of a month fast approaching and no activities under your belt, please contact an organizer to discuss what your options are to maintain membership.

If you find Toga Tots is not the right fit for you and your family, again, please contact an organizer privately regarding leaving the group. We will hate to see someone leave, but we understand that our group is not the right one for every mom.

The organizers are not a regime against the common member. We are members ourselves. We too are held to meeting that 1 event per month even though we also have very busy lives outside of Toga Tots. All we ask for is communication. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Roll Call will be conducted as follows:

Marked Yes – attending physical event or participation in charity type events (raffles, walks, etc

Marked Maybe – marked MIA w/ notification to organizers & new members in their joining month

Marked No – not attending any events, not contacting organizers/not response to communication attempts
